About Us:
Manufacturing Hire has earned a solid reputation for attracting top tier candidates; most of whom are not found on Job Boards and are not typically looking for new opportunities. Rather, we find those high value candidates below the surface that typically, no one else can find.
We are specialists in our field, and we don’t waste our clients time or money by sending them “lukewarm” candidates or a flurry of mediocre resumes that do not closely align with our client’s specific needs. We do the work and don’t skip steps.
Our Process:
When we enter into a search assignment with a client, we take very specific steps to ensure that we fully know what our client wants and then deliver that to them. We do this by having a strong search – placement process in place. In this regard, no shortcuts are taken, and every effort is made to ensure that we match candidates to our client’s precise needs and specifications – to the job AND to the person.
- WE ANALYZE OUR CLIENTS NEEDS:
We ask our clients a lot of questions about the position, why it is open and what exactly they will need to fill it. We listen; closely to their responses so we can fully understand exactly what they want and need in terms of the candidate’s skillset and experience AND in terms of what type of person they are looking for.
- WE DO OUR HOMEWORK:
We plan and do a lot of research before commencing on the search to develop an effective plan of attack and ensure a successful outcome.
- WE TARGET AND IDENTIFY THE RIGHT CANDIDATES:
Simply providing resumes to clients is a bad use of time and is typically unsuccessful. Instead, we seek out the very best candidates for the search; those that we feel best represent our client’s specifications.
- WE CONDUCT DETAILED INTERVIEWS:
Every (potential) candidate that we consider for a position is given an in-depth interview by us so that we can make a determination as whether he or she COULD be a possible match.
- WE PRESENT CANDIDATES TO OUR CLIENTS:
Once fully vetted and qualified, those candidates that are determined to be good matches for our client’s position, a formal written presentation is sent to our client for consideration.
- WE COORDINATE ALL LOGISTICS:
When our clients want to meet our candidates, we do all of the logistical coordination to make it happen as quickly as possible. We immediately schedule a mutually agreeable time for the candidate to meet with or speak with the client. If a client has a multiple interview process or if it involves coordinating travel from one city to the next, we handle all of that activity.
- WE NEGOTIATE THE OFFER – ACCEPTANCE:
When an offer is forthcoming, we will assist both our client and our candidate to arrive at a mutually beneficial offer and acceptance based on market conditions and realistic expectations from all participants. As skilled negotiators, we are able to reduce emotion, help all parties to stay on task and arrive at a win – win outcome.
- CANDIDATE ONBOARDING:
When an offer is made and accepted, we will continue to work through the interim period between the candidate’s resignation from his/her current position until day one of his/her new position at our client company. We provide in depth assistance in crafting an appropriate resignation letter and strongly counsel all candidates on the perils of considering a counter offer as well as provide them with written materials on how to handle a counteroffer should one be made.
- POST PLACEMENT:
Our goal is to be a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to our clients and a career long resource to our candidates. We strive to achieve that goal every day, all day. There is no question that we enjoy making placements and matching great candidates to great companies. But what we LOVE is cultivating long term relationships. We do this by doing good work and not skipping any steps. We do it with sincerity and an ever-present eye toward high quality for all.
Search Options:
For employers, we offer Contingency, Contained and Retained search solutions which allows all stakeholders the flexibility necessary in creating solutions for their specific hiring needs.
Contingency Under the contingency search model we attract and recruit top tier talent at no up front cost or risk to our client. We will work with you as an extension of your team to understand your hiring goals and the problems you need solved. We will bring to the table industry specific, qualified and interested candidates within the parameters of your job requirements, budget, and culture. Costs associated with this model come only after a successful hire has occurred. The fees are a predetermined percentage of the candidates annual salary and are backed with a guarantee period.
Contained Our contained search is offered for clients that have on-going needs in a specialized department. Under this model we agree to a flat rate monthly fee and a per hire success fee that will offer the client significant cost savings over the life of the project. Contained searches are usually for hiring projects that are either high volume or highly specialized and present an on-going or ‘evergreen’ business need.
Retained The retained search model is typically for leadership or highly specialized and challenging roles that will require a high precision search and deep time commitment. Under this model a front end and success fee is agreed upon.
